Iowa High School Creates Mental Health Retreat Room for Students

It’s the hustle and bustle of your average American high school, but sometimes students need a place to decompress. The administration at Ames High School in Iowa tells KCCI they noticed changes in their students since the pandemic. So the Brain Health Retreat Room was created, a place where students can come in for 15 minutes to relax in a quiet space or work through something that’s on their mind.
