Sofia Vergara's ex, Nick Loeb, argues that their frozen embryos 'have a right to live.'
Sofia Vergara's ex, Nick Loeb, is defending his battle for custody of the two embryos they created together.
In a New York Times op-ed titled, "Our Frozen Embryos Have a Right to Live," Loeb says he desperately wants to be a father - but Vergara is just focused on her career.
"It became clear that parenthood was much less urgent for her than it was for me. I gave her an ultimatum. When she refused, we split up," he said.

He says Vergara wants to keep the embryos "frozen indefinitely" which would be tantamount to "killing them."
