Nick, a comedian and host from the infamous YouTube channel Screen Junkies began a friendship with the actor after interviewing him multiple times for his films. He planned a bit with the actor but it was cancelled leaving him upset and stuck without a plan.
Secretly, the distraction was all part of a huge prank and surprise wedding planned as a collaboration between Screen Junkies and The Rock.
The San Andreas star got Nick’s fiancée, Dilara, involved in the setup, flew their families out to Los Angeles and she had to keep it a secret from her husband to be.
Nick changed into American flag pants as a last resort to do something funny for the interview and when believed he was going to the interview, the actor popped out of the room ready with a surprise. Nick walked into the room and was shocked to see his family and friends and an entire wedding ceremony set up.
The Rock even got officially ordained by the State of California and while it looked like a traditional wedding, they sure had a not-so-traditional officiant. He began with a hilarious introduction and a few movie plugs.

“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of our family and friends to witness and celebrate the coming together of Nicholas Mundy and Dilara Karabas. Nothing is more powerful than your union and carries more force than a bolt of lightning or even the world’s largest earthquake, much like the ones you’ll see in San Andreas in theaters, May 29th,” The Rock said. “Hold your applause, you can see it in 3-D, it’s too much, it’s too much, it’s fine.”
Even though the couple is officially married now, they will still have the wedding the originally planned for September. Having The Rock prank them with a surprise wedding is definitely something this couple will never forget!
