The first clip from Caitlyn Jenner's reality show 'I Am Cait' has been released, and it is being met with mixed reaction
Caitlyn Jenner has appeared in a clip from her new reality show where she is putting on her make-up to face the world.
In the clip, she said, “I never had until a couple of weeks ago, actually had a professional come in and do my makeup. What a difference!”
It’s called I Am Cait. The eight episode series premieres July 26th on E!
In the clip, Caitlyn also said, "We're out into the world. It's so bright out there look at that. Isn't it great that someday you'll be normal."
Someone off screen told her, "You are normal!"
Caitlyn replied, "Put it this way, I'm the new normal!"
But today, that 'new normal' is triggering a backlash.
A New York Post columnist is calling Jenner "the most shameless Kardashian of them all" and says her transformation is a "publicity stunt" to boost the Kardashian franchise.
Boston radio talk show host Gerry Callahan expressed outrage that Caitlyn is being given the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the ESPY’s.
He said, “I am offended that you give the same award that Nelson Mandela got to a guy that dresses like a girl. Arthur Ashe is rolling in his grave.”

Callahan also started a rumor that American hero Noah Galloway, who lost an arm and a leg in Iraq, yet overcame those challenges to compete on Dancing with the Stars, was passed over.
The twitterverse lit up.
“Giving Jenner the courage award over Galloway is a travesty,” said another.
For the record, The Washington Post reports Galloway was not the runner up.
The View put forward another name - college basketball player Lauren Hill, who raised $5 million for cancer research before dying of a rare form of brain cancer last month.
Whoopi Goldberg said, “Maybe the ESPY’s can take another look at this and honor several people. Maybe there's enough Arthur to spread around.”
The usually irreverent late night comics are walking on eggshells - unsure how far they can go.
Mary Murphy of USC Annenberg told INSIDE EDITION, "Everyone is so P.C. A year ago they were mocking Bruce Jenner. Now, that Bruce is Caitlyn they are walking on eggshells. No one wants to cross the line because no one knows where the line is."
Jimmy Kimmel played a hilarious mash-up of The Bachelorette whose name is also named Kaitlyn and Caitlyn’s interview with Diane Sawyer.

And Jimmy Fallon quipped, “The most amazing thing is that it's June and she's already in bathing suit shape!”
But Seth Meyers decided Caitlyn is something he's not prepared to joke about.
He said, “I mostly, you know, I don't have any jokes about this other than to say it's great we're living in a time when everyone is so positive about this.”
