The new season of Dancing with the Stars is about to begin and rumors are swirling that Chaz Bono may be one of the contestants. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

An announcement is about to be made that Cher's little girl, now a beefy guy with a beard, has been named to the new cast of Dancing with the Stars.
Chaz is already getting in shape for the gig. He was photographed leaving a gym in West Hollywood showing off his tattoos.
TV Guide Business Editor Stephen Battaglio told INSIDE EDITION, "The reason Dancing with the Stars has been working for as long as it has is that the show is willing to take risk at who it puts on the air, and this is the biggest risk so far."
Chaz, born little Chastity, famously underwent a sex change to become a man three years ago. He will be dancing with a woman. It's not known whether his partner will be Cheryl Burke, Karina Smirnoff, Kym Johnson who won last season or one of the other professional dancers.
"The rumor is that this cast is really the most unusual and outrageous in the history of Dancing with the Stars," said Battaglio.
Official word of Chaz being signed for the show will be announced on Monday night's episode of Bachelor Pad. Word is David Arquette, the estranged husband of Courteney Cox, is also putting on his dancing shoes.
