When a burglar alarm went off at Paula Abdul's home, police took it seriously and swarmed the house with guns drawn after Abdul had received threatening emails over a recent upset on The X Factor. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It was a heart-stopping scene as cops with guns drawn approach the house of The X Factor judge Paula Abdul.
A burglar alarm went off at 2:30 in the morning. The LAPD found Abdul's front door wide open. Cops with flashlights were looking for clues, climbing the fence, checking the door, and the garage.
Overhead a police helicopter with a spotlight searched for a suspect. The police are taking this very seriously because Abdul has reportedly been receiving threatening emails from people who blame her for 13-year-old Rachel Crow getting kicked off The X Factor.
Just a few days ago Abdul was asked about the menacing messages, but didn't comment.
This morning's drama happened just hours after Abdul returned home from Thursday night's taping of The X Factor. Cops left after not finding anyone in Abdul's house.
