For the first time since Whitney Houston's death, her daughter, Bobbi Kristina is speaking about the ordeal. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
We're hearing from Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, for the first time since her mother's death last month.
Whitney's 19-year-old daughter opened up in an interview that aired Sunday night on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Winfrey asked, "How are you doing?"
"I'm getting through it. Doing as well as I possibly can," replied Bobbi Kristina. "That was still my mother, my confidante, that was still my everything."
She spoke with emotion about how difficult it is to hear her mother's music.
Bobbie Kristina said, "I can sing her music, but to hear it right now, I can't. I can hear her voice and her spirit talking to me and telling me 'keep moving baby. I'm right here. I got you.' "
She also described her last night with her mother.
"I said, 'Mom will you come lay with me?' She stayed with me all night and all day. And I slept in her arms," said Bobbi Kristina.
Bobbi Kristina told Winfrey she's returned to the townhouse, outside Atlanta, where she lived with her mom.
"First night was the most difficult. The first night, I couldn't stay there. The next morning I woke up and heard her say, 'Alright, come on home now,' " she explained.
Bobbi Kristina did not address reports that she is changing her name from "Bobbi Kristina Brown" to "Kristina Houston," yet another sign of her estrangement from her father, Bobby Brown. She reportedly wanted to change her name for years, but her mother would not let her.
Winfrey also interviewed Whitney's brother Gary and his wife Patricia, who responded to rumors that Bobby Brown was responsible for Whitney's drug abuse.
"There are so many people who would want to blame Bobby Brown, or blame him for introducing her to drugs. What would you say about that?" said Winfrey.
"I can't say he introduced drugs to her. I don't think that's true," said Patricia.
Patricia, who worked as Whitney's manager, was at a nightclub with Whitney just two days before Whitney died, and she was also at the Beverly Hilton the day of Whitney's death.
"I heard screams, and I saw the hairstylist drop to her knees. When I got to the room I saw my brother trying to revive her to the point of exhaustion. And then I see her. She had a peaceful look on her face. And I saw them cover her up, and I knew that was it," said Patricia.
Patricia says she was worried about Whitney's relationship with a younger man, presumed to be Ray J.
"The dream that she was chasing was younger. In my opinion, a young man who was thriving and loved to be out and about. I just felt that she was chasing something that would ultimately hurt her," said Patricia.
And Ray J. himself is speaking out for the first time, as he handed out school supplies for a Los Angeles-based charity.
"I really miss my friend, you know, I really do. I'm still hurting," said Ray J.
