Alicia Silverstone is defending her method of feeding her baby with pre-chewed food from her own mouth. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
The actress famous for her role in Clueless is finally defending her practice of chewing up food and spitting it into her 11-month-old son's mouth.
"People have been feeding their kids that way for thousands of years. It's a weaning process," she said at a question and answer session to promote her new movie Vamps.
"I think it's adorable and it makes me laugh every time he does it," said Silverstone.
The CDC warns that pre-chewing food can spread tooth decay, and infectious diseases, including strep.
But Silverstone says she has no regrets.
"Every time my husband goes to the YMCA, some guy comes over and says, 'That's how we do it in the south.' It's natural and lovely, I wasn't really trying to tell anybody what to do," said Silverstone.
