In a rare TV interview, David Letterman sat down with his old friend, Regis Philbin, where Letterman shied away from clips of himself, but opened up about his family. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
David Letterman sat down for a rare interview with his good buddy Regis Philbin as Philbin returned to the airways, filling in for Piers Morgan on CNN.
With the table turned, Letterman looked uncomfortable. He got embarrassed when Philbin played some of his greatest TV moments.
Letterman said, "Please don't roll any more tape. I'm coming across the table if you roll another tape. There is going to be bloodshed."
But Letterman did open up about his family. It turns out he and his 8-year-old son Harry are avid skiers and even persuaded his wife, Regina, to take up the sport.
"She says, ‘I'm worried about this,' and Harry said, 'What are you worried about?' Regina said, ‘Well is it slippery?' And then Harry and I laughed so hard. Oh the snow? On the mountain? No, it's the new kind of non-slippery snow," joked Letterman.
