Scott Baio tells INSIDE EDITION he's tried to help his former Happy Days co-star, Erin Moran, who has fallen on hard times, but she needs to help herself.
Chachi doesn't love Joanie anymore.
INSIDE EDITION caught up Scott Baio and he had harsh words for his former on-screen love.
"I try not to get involved in people's lives. You make your bed, you got to sleep in it," said Baio.
Erin Moran, better known as Joanie Cunningham from Happy Days, starred on one of the biggest TV hits ever. She and Baio then starred in the spin off Joanie Loves Chachi.
But the freckled faced cutie has since fallen on hard times. She's struggling financially and living in a trailer park in New Salisbury, Indiana. The 51-year-old clearly wasn't happy when our producer tracked her down.
Two years ago, Moran lived in Palmdale, California, but lost her home to foreclosure. Her last TV appearance was on Celebrity Fit Club in 2008 during which she only lost 3 pounds.
Baio says he reached out to her several times, but has decided to move on.
"I got nothing to say. I wouldn't know what to say," said Baio.
Things are going better for Baio. He's returning to TV on a new Nick at Nite TV series called See Dad Run. His new show, coincidentally is being filmed on the same soundstage as Happy Days.
"It's fantastic. I forgot how much I enjoyed it," said Baio.
And he hopes there are happy days ahead for his fallen co-star.
