Celebrities seem to have left-of-center names for their children, but new parents Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may take the cake. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their daughter of all things, North, as in North West.
There is a birth cetificate out to prove it. First Name: North, Last Name: West. Full name North West.
There had been rumors flying before Kim gave birth that North was a name in the running. But most people, including Jay Leno, thought that was a joke. Kim also dismissed the rumor.
She said, “There is so many rumors.”
Leno said, "There was one that Kanye wanted to name the baby would be North West."
She responded, "That is not true. That is not one of the names on our list."
Comedians will have a field day with this one. The host of the TV show The Soup, Joel McHale already took to Twitter and joked, "Kim & Kanye almost named the baby South West, until they heard the infant would then be required to make 3 daily flights to Phoenix.”
Kim and Kanye took baby North West home from the hospital yesterday. They already have a nickname for her. They're calling their bundle of joy Nori.
