Jane Leeves says she'll never get plastic surgery and even calls some of her fellow celebrities' surgeries "depressing." INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
Actress Jane Leeves is breaking a Hollywood taboo. She's talking about bad plastic surgery, and she's naming names!
The star of Hot in Cleveland and Frasier says of Meg Ryan, "[She] destroyed her career with plastic surgery."
Leeves goes on to describe Melanie Griffith's mouth as a "trout pout," referring to her surgically enhanced lips. "They never look good on somebody who's not born that way. It always looks weird. She was a very attractive woman," she told the London Daily Mail.
And Leeves takes aim at Mickey Rourke. She says the cosmetic surgery the actor had done is "so depressing."
Regarding TV personality Sharon Osbourne, Leeves says she looks like a monkey.
Julie Chen discussed it on The Talk. "This bit here, and she's talking about the space between the bottom of your nose and the top of your lip, it just disappears and is vaguely simian looking. Mrs. O, what do you have to say?"
Osbourne replied, "I've never been compared to simian looking here. I haven't had anything done here. But now she's said it, I'll now have a phobia about it, and probably end up going to have something done. So thanks for the adivce, Mrs." She continued, "And always remember, you're not a star, you're just a sitcom actress, but God bless."
Leeves does have kind words for Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep. She says they're examples of women who are growing old gracefully and continue to have thriving careers.
Now 50 years old, Leeves swears she'll never go under the knife because she fears surgery will make her unrecognizable and unemployable.
