Jon Hamm tops the list of many women’s list, but INSIDE EDITION uncovered a dating show where the then-unknown actor didn’t make the cut.
Long before he was sexy Don Draper on Mad Men, Jon Hamm was an unknown dude on a TV dating show.
The year was 1996, the host was Mark L. Walberg and the girl looking for love was Mary Lou Carter. The show was called “The Big Date" which aired on USA Network.
Hamm tried to impress Carter with his idea of the perfect date by suggesting, “Well, you start off with some fabulous food and then some fabulous conversation with a fabulous foot massage for an evening of total fabulousity.”
But Carter didn't think Hamm was so fabulous. Instead, she picked a guy named Marc.
Mark L. Walberg went on to a successful career as host of Antiques Roadshow.
And get this, Hamm wasn't just rejected once. He was rejected twice on the same show.
Hamm bounced around Hollywood for eleven years until he finally hit it big in 2007 when he was cast as the lead in Mad Men, which is generally regarded as one of the best dramas in TV history.
Imagine that, ladies-- You turned down Don Draper.
