Brad Pitt is the latest victim of a notorious red carpet prankster who assualted the star at the premiere of wife Angeline Jolie's new film, Maleficent. INSIDE EDITION has more.
It's the shocking attack on Brad Pitt that everyone is talking about.
Chaos erupted on the red carpet as security guards subdued a man who lunged at Brad at the Los Angeles premiere of Angelina Jolie's new film Maleficent.
Brad backed away as the alleged assailant's arm flew past his face. There was a wild scuffle and the actor's sunglasses were knocked off.
Brad's security team tackled the guy as he tried to vault over a crowd barrier. They grabbed him by his red pants, flipped him over and pinned him down before finally hauling him away.

INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander showed the scary incident to former U.S. Secret Service agent Evy Poumpouras.
Alexander asked, "What's your take on how the security responded to the situation?"
Poumpouras told INSIDE EDITION, "My problem is that as soon as the threat comes, or as the attack comes, the individual behind Brad Pitt is actually supposed to come in from behind, hug him and pull him back. He didn't do that. We see at least eight seconds of film here where Brad Pitt is just standing there."

Brad's alleged attacker is identified as 25-year-old Vitalii Sediuk, a notorious red carpet prankster.
He used to work as a reporter for Ukranian TV, but INSIDE EDITION has learned that he was fired after creating an international incident just last week when he tried to crawl under actress America Ferrera's gown at the Cannes Film Festival.
Sediuk also crashed last year's Grammys when singer Adele strode on stage to give her acceptance speech for best solo pop performance. Jennifer Lopez managed to shoo him off stage.
Bradley Cooper tried to laugh it off when he got an uncomfortable hug from Sediuk at the SAG Awards in January.
But Will Smith gave him a taste of his own medicine in 2012 when Sediuk planted a kiss on him, and Smith slapped Sediuk in the face.
Poumpouras said, "He's been invited to many red carpet events before. So, he's got an in somewhere and this is how he's able to get into these particular events."
Some reports say Brad was punched in the face, but he appeared to be uninjured as he posed for photos with Angelina.
Despite the chaos on the red carpet, the night belonged to the Maleficent star who looked magnificent.
