While being honored as the "Fashion Icon of the Year" at the CFDA Awards in New York, Rihanna's dress seemed to make more headlines than her achievements. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It's more of Rihanna than you've ever seen before! The pop-star left little to the imagination as she hit the red carpet in New York on Monday night. She wore a see-through gown and a nude-colored thong.
The translucent dress was designed by fashion newcomer Adam Selman. Eight assistants worked around the clock from 8 p.m. to 3 p.m. the following day to create the jaw-dropping gown, which was adorned with more than 230,000 Swarovski crystals.
The singer was honored as the "Fashion Icon of the Year" at the CFDA Awards. She said at the event, “There are rules, but rules are meant to be broken.”
She's certainly breaking all the rules. After the ceremony Rihanna had some fun celebrating with friends while still wearing that daring dress that is one to remember.
