Despite high security, a man broke into Sandra Bullock’s Los Angeles residence while she was home. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Oscar winning actress Sandra Bullock has obtained an emergency protective order against a man charged with breaking into her Bel Air estate home Sunday morning.
Despite the high metal gate, barbed wire, and security cameras that surround Bullock's compound, police said the man was able to breach security and enter the property. Officers responded to a call about a prowler at 6:30 a.m.
A representative for Bullock confirmed the actress was home at the time of the break in, but that the actress was unharmed and is fine.
Just a few hours before, the 49-year-old Oscar-winner was honored Saturday night for her "Decade of Hotness" at Spike TV's Guys' Choice Awards.
"I'm still convinced I'm up here because someone dropped out and they needed someone quickly and we know I'm home on Saturdays," said Bullock.
She wore hot pink and a tiara as she was joined on stage with former co-stars Keanu Reeves, Hugh Grant, and Matthew McConaughey. Bullock was clearly enjoying the night, not knowing just hours later she would have the scare of her life.
