Donald Trump made surprisingly supportive remarks about his old nemesis Rosie O'Donnell's return to The View. INSIDE EDITION explains.
Hiring Rosie O’Donnell is a "good move" according to her arch foe Donald Trump.
The real estate mogul told the New York Daily News, "I think it's a good move on ABC's part. The show has really missed not having Barbara (Walters) on it."
Of course, Trump being Trump, the praise didn't last long, saying, “It'll have a short term positive effect, but then you have the long term. Rosie always self-destructs. I think she's got a great agent - anyone with so many failures that can go back again and again is amazing to me."
O’Donnell and Trump famously butted heads in 2006.
Also weighing in on O’Donnell’s big return to The View is Rachael Ray. She told INSIDE EDITION, “I'm such a Rosie fan. On and off air, I am a big supporter of her. I'm thrilled to see her return to The View.”
INSIDE EDITION caught up with Ray at the launch of her "Shelter Cats Are Beautiful" tour. She's traveling the country giving shelter cats makeovers to help them get adopted.

Meantime, Elisabeth Hasselbeck has more to say about O’Donnell’s return.
She really stirred things up the other day when she called in from vacation and went after O’Donnell on Fox & Friends. Saying, “Here in comes to The View the very woman who spit in the face of our military, spit in the face of her own network.”
Hasselbeck posted a handwritten note on Instagram saying, "When asked about Rosie coming back, I provided my analysis. I don't hate Rosie. I actually called to talk to her 7 years ago. She did not want to speak to me."
