Now, in an INSIDE EDITION exclusive, the little girl's mother, Taqoya Branscomb, spoke out about her affair with Mathew Knowles and introduces her love child to the world.
Just like Beyoncé, Koi Knowles is growing up in Houston with a passion for dancing and singing. Koi's got a megawatt smile and charms everyone she meets.
INSIDE EDITION’s Diane McInerney asked Taqoya, “When you told Mathew Knowles that you were pregnant with his child, how did he react?
She said, “It can't be my child.”

Mathew was the successful manager overseeing Beyoncé's career. He was also married to Beyoncé's mom, Tina.
Taqoya said, “He treated me like I was the love of his life."
But when she had little Koi, she says Mathew Knowles refused to play any role in her life, not even making an effort to meet her.
Taqoya said, “He does not want to be a father. He makes it very clear.”
McInerney asked, “How does that make you feel?”
“His loss,” she replied.
On Wednesday, Taqoya came face-to-face with Mathew in court as she fought to prove he is the father. She wants him ordered to pay child support.
Mathew was asked when leaving court, “You can see that she is your daughter?” He had no answer.
McInerney asked Taqoya, “He's not financially supporting Koi?”
“No,” she replied.
By coming forward, Taqoya must now face the sometimes harsh glare of the spotlight and we had to ask about her prior record. She was once arrested for prostitution.
“Court records show you were arrested for prostitution. What happened?,” asked McInerney.
“I was 20, 21 years old. I was a dancer at a prominent strip club. There was a raid. When everything was cleared up it was dismissed,” she said.
Now a real estate agent, Taqoya says her priority is caring for her daughter.
She said, “Yes, I slept with a married man and it was the wrong thing to do, but I have a beautiful daughter who came out of the situation.”
She’s not alone. Alexsandra Wright has a four-year-old son, Nixon, by Mathew Knowles. INSIDE EDITION was with the mom and son in May when they moved to a trailer park outside Los Angeles because they were broke.
Now, Nixon may have a little half-sister and Beyoncé, two siblings she has never met.
Mathew Knowles' infidelities have cost him his marriage to Tina and Beyoncé has also fired her dad as her manager. He has acknowledged thatNixon is his son. The question now is whether he will acknowledge beautiful Koi as his daughter. He may not have a choice. A court has ordered him to have a paternity test. Stay tuned for the results.
