Fans of Fifty Shades of Grey got to see the film before its release. INSIDE EDITION has their reaction to the much anticipated movie.
Over one thousand screaming fans were in the biggest movie theater in Manhattan! It can only be one thing. A special screening of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Eleven hundred of the books most avid fans showed up at dawn at Ziegfeld Theater for a chance to watch the movie with the film's stars and the author of Fifty Shades herself, E.L. James.
"I'm very lucky to have all of these people here," James exclaimed on the Today Show.
So what did they think?
INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent asked, "How are you all feeling after this movie?"
"Don't even ask that question!" some viewers answered.
Trent joked, "Like cold showers?"
The ladies he spoke to were all riled up after the screening. They range in age from 21- to-81-year- old Jackie Venneri from Philadelphia!
Trent asked Jackie, "Did you like the movie, though?"
"Oh I loved it, I did!" she replied.
"Did it live up to the hype?" Trent inquired.
She said, "Yes. Absolutely, absolutely!" one fan said. Another added, "Yeah, definitely. I had low expectations for the movie because I thought that it would not be as good as the book but I definitely think that they did a great job!"
It's a big thumbs up from the bunch, not one negative review!
Trent reported, "Between 1 to 10, you're giving Fifty Shades of Grey a 10 and 11!"
And can you believe groups are urging people to boycott the film? Check out this video to see why.
