Days after Bruce Jenner was involved in a car crash that left one woman dead, the former Olympian was photographed talking on his phone while driving. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
Bruce Jenner was photographed talking away on his cell phone while driving just three days after he was involved in a horrific car crash.
Jenner was photographed with his phone in his left hand. The shots were taken Tuesday after a round of golf in Thousand Oaks, California.
The former Olympian, who is said to be transitioning into a woman, could be in trouble if phone records show he was talking or texting when the accident happened.
Attorney Darren Kavinoky told INSIDE EDITION, "The recent photo of Bruce talking on his cell phone likely isn't relevant or admissible in a court of law but it is definitely horrible in the court of public opinion. The last thing Bruce wants to be seen right now doing is talking on his cell phone while driving."
INSIDE EDITION is learning more details of last Saturday’s tragedy on the Pacific Coast Highway that happened when the driver of a black Prius suddenly slowed down for some unknown reason.
A white Lexus plowed right into the Prius from behind. Then, Bruce Jenner, in a black Escalade, rear-ended the Lexus and pushed it into oncoming traffic. That's when a Hummer traveling in the opposite direction hit the Lexus head on, killing a 69-year-old widow, Kim Howe.
The driver of that black Prius has now been identified and she was driving with a suspended license! Her name is Jessica Marie Steindorff. She's a 29-year-old talent manager who represents Victoria’s Secret supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio.
Turns out, Steindorff had her license suspended twice in the past, once in 2012 and again in 2013. The second suspension is still in effect, but her lawyer says the accident was not her fault.
Kavinoky told INSIDE EDITION, "From a criminal perspective driving with a suspended or revoked or expired license is a crime that can land you in jail."
Now, the photos of Jenner driving while using his phone are adding to the drama.
The driver in the Prius wasn't the only driver without a valid license. Turns out the victim in the crash was also driving on an invalid license, hers expired in 2007.
