The large, dark mark completely covers her cheek. It's a rare condition called Nevus.

It's impossible not to be captivated by the 23-year-old from Los Angeles who says her birthmark is actually an asset and helps her get jobs.

"It definitely gives me an edgier look. I've gone to an audition and the director said, 'I love you, but not for this job - I have another job waiting for you.'"

Naud admits she didn't always embrace her look, especially when bullies taunted her growing up.

We asked, "Did kids ever tease you about the birthmark?"

Naud responded, "Yeah, definitely. Growing up I had a lot of issues with my confidence."

At one point, she even considered having her birthmark removed surgically.

She told INSIDE EDITION, "Right before high school was when it was the hardest because I was scared to go into high school. So that was when I was like, 'maybe I do want to get it removed.'"

But, she changed her mind.

She added, "My mom would always tell me 'it's okay,' and that I was beautiful."

Removing the birthmark could also cause scarring.

We asked, "If you could make the birthmark disappear with no risk of scarring, would you?"

"No. Not now. I've just fallen in love with it," said Naud.

Her boyfriend, Patrick, who's also a professional dancer, agrees.
