In a strange case, Carrie Bradshaw-Crowther vanished before she was supposed to give birth. She's been found, but there's no baby.
Carrie Bradshaw-Crowther told everyone she was pregnant at age 49. But on the day she was scheduled to go to the hospital for a C-section, she mysteriously vanished from her home.
Her daughter appealed to her missing mom. "We love you and we miss you, and we need you," she said.

But surveillance images taken later at a gas station 25 miles away from her North Carolina house showed Carrie to be alive and well.
Earlier this week, police tracked her down after she used her credit card at a CVS pharmacy. Cops rushed her to the hospital.
Now her family has issued a cryptic statement: "We no longer expect a new addition to our family."
Carrie, the statement said, has been hospitalized and is "receiving much needed medical care."
“Can you tell us if Carrie's baby died?” a WSOC reporter asked Carrie's brother.
He said, “All I can say is that we're not expecting any new addition to our family.”
Now many are asking...did Carrie lose her baby? Or was she ever pregnant to begin with? Was it a so-called “phantom pregnancy,” sometimes known as hysterical pregnancy?
INSIDE EDITION’s Steven Fabian spoke to OBGYN, Dr. Kimberly Gecsi, a specialist in phantom pregnancies.
“Describe to us this condition, 'phantom pregnancy,'” he said.

“Phantom pregnancy is a rare condition that happens when a woman believes so strongly that she is pregnant, when she is not actually pregnant, that her body starts to take on some of the attributes of pregnancy," said Dr. Gecsi.
"She gains weight, she may even feel symptoms of pregnancy, she may even think that she's feeling the baby move,” said Dr. Gecsi.
“Are the women pregnant and then have a miscarriage, or are they never pregnant at all?” asked Fabian.
“I think each case is unique. I think definitely some of them may have started that way where there was a pregnancy to begin with, the woman may have miscarried and she just didn't want to believe she actually miscarried, and continued on in her mind thinking that she was pregnant,” said Dr. Gecsi.
It’s a puzzling ending to a pregnancy mystery.
Carrie is not facing any charges.
