When Dwayne Ellrich was pulled over for speeding in Indiana, his daughter said he deserved a ticket.
When this dad was pulled over for speeding, the trooper wasn't the only one who was unamused.
Indiana State Trooper Darrick Scott stopped Dwayne Ellrich on I-65 on Saturday and saw his daughter, Ashley, inside the car.
In an attempt to ease her nerves, Scott made Ashley, who has Down syndrome, an honorary state trooper and asked her whether she thought her dad should get a ticket or a warning.
She said he should get a ticket.

Luckily for Mr Ellrich, the trooper was feeling slightly more charitable and only issued him a warning.
The relieved dad shared the incident to Facebook, where he posted a picture of Ashley wearing the kind-hearted trooper's hat.
"There are some great cops out there," Mr Ellrich wrote. "And dad did slow down... We all should... Life is too precious."
Indiana State Police also commented on the incident.

"Trooper Scott is a fine example of what the ISP hopes to represent," they said. "And we are extra glad that Ashley is on our side!"
The trooper told WRTV that he was surprised by Ashley's answer.
He added: "It's just reassuring to know there are people out there who are supportive of law enforcement."
