Singer Demi Lovato canceled a morning show appearance and took to Twitter after a coyote wandered into her backyard and killed her beloved dog, Buddy.
Demi Lovato said she is "absolutely heartbroken" after her beloved dog, Buddy, was killed by a coyote in the backyard of her Los Angeles home.

The 'Cool For the Summer' singer canceled a scheduled appearance onGood Morning America and took to Twitter to remember her beloved pooch.
“We are absolutely heartbroken to be writing this but Wilmer and I are devastated to inform you that we lost our little angel Buddy last Sunday," she wrote.
"He was taken from us way too soon in a tragic accident and though I will never know why this had to happen, I do know that God only puts us through situations that we can handle so with that, together we our staying strong."

Buddy was a mini-celebrity in his own right. He had his own Instagram and Twitter pages, with more than 400,000 followers.
"Buddy was loved by so many people and as small as he was, he made a huge impact in our lives. He truly was human in a way and we were so blessed to have him in our lives," Lovato wrote. "RIP my tiniest little nightingale, Buddy.”
