Motocross hero Robbie "Maddo" Maddison made his dream of surfing on his dirty bike a reality.
This video adds a whole new meaning to riding the waves.
It shows motocross hero Robbie "Maddo" Maddison making history by riding his dirt bike on the waters of Tahiti.

Footage posted by DC Shoes, which has been viewed more than three million times, shows his adventure in the island nation.
His bike has a special sled attached to the wheel base which allows him to ride in the water and zip around as if he were on a boat.

For two years, Robbie has been practicing to surf using his motorbike and now he finally made it a reality.
When a fan asked him on Twitter how many times he failed, he tweeted:

His grand finale came when a massive wave came crashing down on him in the video - but he rode through it as if he was busting through a wall.
