Jon Stewart officially signed off as host of 'The Daily Show' last night and got a little help from his friends.
Bruce Springsteen, Martin Scorsese, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Steve Carrell, Stephen Colbert, Olivia Munn and many, many more bid Jon Stewart a fond farewell on Thursday night.
The 52-year-old comedian stepped down as host of The Daily Show after 16 years.
Stewart, who began hosting duties in 1999 from Craig Kilborn, brought game-changing political humor to the show.
He also had an eye for talent and his former correspondents - some of them now big stars in their own right - returned to pay tribute to their old boss.
As the show opened, Stewart was going to cover the news until his correspondents came by to take one last jab at the host.

Even politicians got their own back.
John McCain called him a “Jackass.”
Chris Christie said: “I will never forget you, Jon – but I will be trying.”
Rep. Charles Rangel said: “Good riddance, smartass!”
Yet there were plenty of touching moments, including one from Stephen Colbert, who said: “You said to me and to many other people here years ago never to thank you because we owe you nothing. It is one of the few times I have known you to be dead wrong.
“We owe you because we learned from you. We learned from you by example how to do a show with attention, how to work with clarity, how to treat people with respect. You are infuriatingly good at your job!
Stewart, who got emotional at times, reflected on his time on the show and finally got his moment of Zen as Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band closed out the night.
His final show taping raised more than $2.2 million for New York Collaborates For Autism (NYCA), a charity that is important to the comic.

By teaming up with the fundraising platform, Omaze, more than 47,000 people in 78 countries donated money for a chance to win a ticket to his final taping.
According to The Huffington Post, Matt Pohlson, co-founder of Omaze said: “It’s fitting that he leveraged his final show to raise over $2M for this incredible cause."
New Daily Show host Trevor Noah will begin his run on September 28. One thing is for sure, the South African comic has large shoes to fill.
