UFC star Ronda Rousey has come out and said she could beat boxer Floyd Mayweather in a ruleless fight.
UFC fighter Ronda Rousey has said she could beat Floyd Mayweather in a "ruleless fight."
During a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" session on Monday, she was asked if she could “legitimately beat Floyd Mayweather in a ruleless fight."
She responded: "Floyd is one of the best boxers of all time. He would definitely beat me in a boxing match. I unfortunately don't get into "matches". I fight for a living."

But she continued: "In a no rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet. Boxing is a sweet science with strict rules that I respect very much and aspire every day to improve at. But you said ruleless fight, and that's my honest answer.”
Lately, Mayweather and Rousey have been taking knocks at each other in the press.
In a recent ESPN interview, the boxer said: “I've yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes. When she can do that, then call me."
UFC’s official Twitter account even poked fun of Mayweather after his comments.
They showcased a short video of Rousey knocking out her oppents in seconds as opposed to Mayweather’s recent 12 rounds with Manny Pacquiao.

“I don’t like to talk about exactly how much money I make, but I’m extremely comfortable and happy,” Rousey said.
She continued: “If I got to a point where I had almost 50 fights, I would probably be making close to the same amount of money as Floyd does. But at this point, I have 11, so I can’t expect it to be exactly equal yet, I don’t think. I have to put more time in.”
