After weeks of taking jabs at each other in the press, Rousey said she actually earns more per second than the world’s richest athlete.
"[Floyd] said, 'You make $300 million a night, then you can give me a call' ... and I actually did the math and given the numbers of my last fight, I'm actually the highest paid UFC fighter and I'm a woman,” the UFC star told a photographer in Los Angeles, according to TMZ Sports.
She then said: "I think I actually make two-three times more than he does per second…so when he learns to read and write, he can text me."
The photographer then asked: "So you actually make more than he does?"
"Yeah, I'm just more efficient,” she replied.
She won her last bout in less than 40 seconds.
Mayweather, who just purchased the world’s most expensive car, posted a video of himself training for his next fight.
In the video, he has a stack of money under his arm and punching a bag. His nickname is “Money” and his company is “The Money Team."
"I need motivation!" he yelled. "Let me hold it while I'm training. I gotta hold it."
Earlier this year, Rousey beat out Mayweather at this year’s ESPY for Fighter of the Year, and told ESPN: “I wonder how Floyd feels being beaten by a woman for once.”

It was a reference to his history of alleged domestic violence incidents.
Mayweather then went to ESPN earlier this month and responded to her comments, saying: “I've yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes. When she can do that, then call me."
