Mike Vegas ordered from a Domino's on Friday night but never got a chance to eat it right away. The bartender was called into work and left the box of wings he was craving unopened in his fridge.
"I got off work really late, and when I came back home I found the cash in the delivery box -- a refrigerated deposit," he told Vegas NBC Bay Area. "I was rubbing my eyes at 5 a.m., laughing at myself."
It seems staff at the Domino’s in Berkley must have put cash from the register in box marked ‘chicken wings’ and got their boxes mixed up.
Vegas said the driver had called about his missing cash, but since Vegas was working, he ignored the calls.
He explained that he got in touch with the driver to let him know his cash had been found.
