Tyler Johnson, 22, posted a video online showing him competing against New Britain Police Officer Matt Suleck in an incredible dance-off. The footage, which was shared to Facebook on Saturday, has already been viewed more than 9,000 times.

Speaking to INSIDE EDITION, Tyler explained he had gone to New Britain's Car Show with some of his friends on Saturday and asked the DJ to put on a song so that he could dance for the crowd.
Moments after he started freestyling to Chris Brown's "Turn Up the Music," the uniformed officer approached him.
"He said, 'You've got some sweet dance moves, can we have a battle?'" Tyler said. "I was really shocked. I thought he was going to ask me a question so I was like, "Wow, he wants to dance?"'
And Tyler couldn't believe the officer's routine.
"I didn't expect much from him," he said. "But he impressed me with his dance moves."
He said he even learned from the officer and plans to borrow one of his moves - where the officer appeared to rip out Tyler's heart before kicking it away.
"That's the one I'll be taking," Tyler said, laughing.

He was also gracious when it came to naming the winner.
"Overall I would say he kind of beat me," he said. "I was trying to dance too professionally but it looks like he was having fun. I give the win to him."
He said that the officer's impressive moves also came with a winning message.
"It shows that cops actually do care about the community and do care about the children out there," he said. "Cops are not bad people."
Tyler, an Army National Guard, added that he often dances in public with his crew, District13, and teaches dance classes to adults and children, although he hopes to make it his career one day.
