Andrew Turley was charged with trafficking a child and compelling prostitution after undercover investigators found the ad and reached out about the girl.
A Texas man was allegedly caught prostituting a four-year-old girl on Craigslist, writing in an ad on the site “Play with Daddy’s little girl” before eventually trying to sell the child for $1,000, prosecutors said.
Andrew Turley, 28, was charged with trafficking a child and compelling prostitution after undercover investigators found the ad and reached out about the girl, KTRK reported.
After exchanging more than 60 emails, Turley and law enforcement officials met at his apartment and agreed to pay $1,000 for the tot, the Harris County District Attorney’s office reportedly said.

The child was found unresponsive and possibly drugged inside her room.
“When officers arrived, they discovered the complaining witness, being a four-year-old child, appeared to be under the influence or in a groggy state, also appeared to be unclothed under the blanket, which the defendant exposed to the officer,” ADA Ann Johnson reportedly said.
Turley told the undercover officer “it may not fit in” but said that he could “do whatever he wanted,” the New York Daily News reported.
The child was reportedly safe and her mother appeared to have no idea what was happening.

Information for his lawyer was not immediately available.
He was told he could have no contact with the girl, her mother and all children, the TV station reported.
Both charges Turley faces carry potential five- to 99-year prison sentences, the Daily News wrote.
