Skiers trapped in a stranded ski lift filmed their incredible rescue - and the awe-inspiring views on the way down.
Kody Lapointe and his dad Manny - as well as dozens of other skiers and snowboarders - became stranded in gondolas when a transformer blew at the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in British Columbia, Canada last weekend.

Manny switched on his GoPro camera as a helicopter rescue crew entered the car and pulled them out.
"Got stuck on gondola but the KHMR resort team rescued us and we got a sweet ride out of it!" he wrote on a YouTube video of the rescue.
The footage shows rescuers airlifting the visitors from the gondola before attaching them to a cord and carrying them to safety. Kody can be seen taking in the incredible views on the way down.
