A reporter in Dallas came across a magical pillow that is now captivating the internet.
A local news reporter came across a unique throw pillow he saw in a store and posted about it on his Facebook page. His video isn’t just captivating audiences, it has raised the profile of the pillows.
The ‘mermaid’ pillows were found by Dallas consumer reporter at KDFW FOX 4 Steve Noviello inside the Nebraska Furniture Mart.

His friend, Michael, showed how the sequin pillows work by swiping a hand over the pillow, changing it from one color to another.
“It’s called the mermaid pillow because you can change it like a fish into a woman,” Michael said in the video. “They’re $149, but you have to realize that it’s probably 1,000 different pillows in one. So it’s really pennies on the dollar.”

The video, which has been seen nearly 30 million times, has also raised the profile of the magical pillow.
While the store does not sell them online, the vendor does and has dropped the price from $140 to $99 on its website.
