Actress Charlotte Ramping, nominated for an Oscar for her performance in 45 Years reportedly says all the controversy over the Oscar nominations is "racist to whites."
She told French radio network Europe 1 on Friday morning: “Perhaps the black actors did not deserve to make the final list."
Debate over the all-white Oscar nominations continues to heat up.
Oscar- winner Reese Witherspoon is joining the conversation, writing on Facebook: "So disappointed that some of 2015's best films, filmmakers and performances were not recognized. These filmmakers deserve recognition. As an Academy member, I would love to see a more diverse voting membership.”
Actor William H. Macy, star of Best Picture nominee Room told DailyMail.com, “There's no conspiracy, it's just the Academy, it's a bunch of white guys. I'm guilty of it too. We gravitate to our own. I think we need more diversity in the Academy.”

The embattled Academy Awards is holding out hope that Oprah Winfrey will agree to present one of the top awards.
Morgan Freeman is also on the short list of potential presenters.
Will Smith, who was snubbed for a Best Actor nomination for Concussion, was also said to be on the list of possible presenters, but he's standing by wife Jada in her boycott of the show.

Meantime, Oscar-winner Robert Redford is backing away from the controversy. Speaking at a panel at of his Sundance Film Festival, he said: “I'm not into Oscars. What I mean is, I’m not focused on that part. For me, it's about the work."
