Samuel H. McHenry II has been sentenced to six months in jail after being accused of raping a woman while on-duty as an Alabama state trooper.
An Alabama state trooper accused of handcuffing and raping a woman has been sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to a downgraded misdemeanor charge in a plea agreement, authorities said Friday.
Samuel H. McHenry II, age 36, must report to the Butler County Jail by March 12.

He was arrested on Dec. 8, and charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy, AL.com reported. Under the terms of his plea deal, those charges were dropped and McHenry pleaded guilty to misdemeanor sexual misconduct.
The victim told investigators she had been involved in a car accident on Interstate 65 on Dec. 6. McHenry was dispatched to the scene.
She said the trooper handcuffed her after finding pill bottles and a nasal spray container in her car. She told police he put her in his cruiser and drove to exit 107 on the highway.
According to court documents, the woman told investigators that McHenry said she was going to have to "F*** me or go to jail," the news site reported.
The woman told authorities he pulled his pants down and raped her, and forced her to perform oral sex, McHenry's arrest warrant stated, according to AL.com.
McHenry was also ordered Friday to pay court costs and victim compensation's fees. He must register as a sex offender.
