During a soccer match in Mexico, a player went to retrieve a ball that went out of bounds and discovered a dead body, which brought the amateur league game to a sudden halt.

The female body, which was dumped in a septic tank, was retrieved by firefighters called to the scene.

Mexican police have opened a murder investigation. The body has been identified as belonging to 22-year-old Leticia Jesus Doroteo.

Police sayher corpse was dumped just hours after she went dancing on Saturday night in San Pedro de la Hortaliza, 60 miles west of Mexico City.
According to The Sun, the woman’s father lives yards from the site. No arrests have been made.
