Donald Trump told Anderson Cooper on Wednesday night he was not backing down from his stance banning Muslims from entering America.

“I think Islam hates us,” he told the CNN anchor. “There's an unbelievable hatred of us.”
In December, Trump called for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the U.S. Despite much condemnation, he has stood by his remarks.
Cooper asked: “Is there a war against the West and radical Islam or with Islam itself?”

“It's radical but it's very hard to define," Trump responded. "It's very hard to separate because you don't know who is who. We have to be very vigilant. We have to be very careful. And we can't allow people coming into this country who have this hatred of the United States."
