Woman arrested in Majorca for allegedly killing and feeding bits of her husband to the family dog, police said.
Police on the Spanish island of Majorca saying they have arrested a woman for allegedly killing her husband and then feeding bits of him to the family dog.
Svetlana Batukova, 46, was jailed Friday after she was found next to the body of her husband, Horst Hans Henkels, police said, according to The Local, an English-language news site in Spain.

An autopsy revealed Henkels, who was German, bled to death, authorities said. Flesh from his arms was allegedly sliced off and fed to the couple’s dog, a Staffordshire bull terrier, police said.
Authorities said they had responded to several domestic violence calls at the couple’s apartment.

Batukova and Henkels, who were retired, were married in January, authorities said.
Batukova is due to appear before an investigating magistrate, The Local reported.
