Oh, deer!
When a deer was caught in a soccer net in Madeira, Ohio, police officers were quick to respond.

"Madeira officers routinely respond to reports of animals in distress," the Madeira Police Department wrote on their Facebook, "and due to the unpredictable nature of wild animals these kind of calls for service can be very hazardous to officers."
But Officer Rick Bryam and Detective Tim Vogel were nonetheless valiant in their efforts to free the animal when residents alerted them on the situation.
In the video shot by a bystander, the officers can be seen trying to cut around the net, being careful not to get too close to the deer.
The deer was motionless, but suddenly got spooked and sprang into action. It also seemed to kick one of the officers away.
The cops kept trying to untangle the goalie's net from the deer, but it became more difficult when the deer started to squirm.

As if out of nowhere, the deer was free, and can be seen furiously running back into the woods. Within a blink of an eye, the deer is gone.
"No 'thank you'?" an officer can be heard jokingly yelling as it dashes in to the distance.
