The 35-year-old actor told Vulture: “I’m a man in his mid-30s who’s essentially retired. I kind of go where the wind takes me a little bit.”

In the interview, the Home Alone actor said his hobbies include writing, painting, and doing “whatevering.” Culkin has also enjoyed time as a musician performing with his band, The Pizza Underground –a Velvet Undergound cover band that manages to make pizza references in the songs.

In the interview he goes to walks at two or four a.m. “because there’s nobody out on the streets and it’s easy for me to go unnoticed," he said.

He said he splits his time now between New York and France.
