Brenda Delgado allegedly hired hitmen to murder the girlfriend of her ex. This week, she became just the 9th woman ever on the FBI's most wanted list.
A jilted lover in Texas accused of hiring killers to off her ex's new love has been nabbed in Mexico after months on the run, police say.
This week, Brenda Delgado became just the ninth woman ever placed on the FBI's most wanted list since it was created in 1950.
Days later, on Friday, the FBI announced the capture of the 33-year-old fugitive in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, by agents of the Mexican Attorney General’s Office.

Her arrest comes seven months after the murder of Dallas dentist Dr. Kendra Hatcher. In early September, Hatcher was found dead from a gunshot wound in the parking garage of her apartment complex.
Investigators with the Dallas Police Department concluded that Delgado hired two alleged co-conspirators to kill Hatcher. Delgado had been wanted on capital murder charge in Texas ever since.
Investigators say Delgado was jealous because Hatcher was dating her ex-boyfriend and had recently been introduced to his parents, reports the Associated Press.
The boyfriend had dated Delgado for about two years before his relationship with 35-year-old Hatcher.
Both alleged co-conspirators have been arrested and are currently in custody.

Delgado will remain in custody in a Mexico City prison pending extradition proceedings, the FBI said in a statement.
The search for Delgado was coordinated by the Dallas FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which is comprised of FBI special agents and detectives from the Dallas and Garland Police Departments.
Delgado was the 506th person and the ninth woman to be placed on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, which was established in March of 1950.
