The Fox News anchor spoke about her meeting with the presidential hopeful on The Kelly File on Wednesday night.
“You may have heard the today that yours truly took a trip over to Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York City," she said. "There I had a meeting with Donald Trump. We met for about an hour, just the two of us. And had a chance to clear the air.”
She added: “By the way, in case you were wondering, yes, the door men appeared a bit stunned when I walked in. And they, too, were incredibly gracious.”
An hour later on Hannity, host Sean Hannity asked Trump about the meeting - and the crowd booed at the mention of her name.
“Well, you know, she called last week," he said. "And they set up a meeting. They said, 'could we come up?' and I said: 'Would you come to Trump Tower?' I didn't want any confusion. And she did, and she was very, very nice. We had a meeting. She was very nice."
