Zany Zoo Pet Store owner Nathan McClain allegedly tipped a prostitute with a bushbaby, a tiny nocturnal African primate named Gooey.
The owner of an exotic pet store in Oregon has been arrested after allegedly paying a hooker with an exotic pet.
Police in Eugene say Nathan McClain, owner of Zany Zoo Pets, first used the donations in a jar on his store counter that were supposed to go to Girl Scouts to pay a prostitute.
As an added thank you for her services, McClain allegedly gave the hooker a tiny African primate called a bushbaby.
Its name is Gooey.
The investigation began in March after a two reports were given to police regarding an alleged burglary at Zany Zoo.

According to the report, a jar of donations, a laptop and a primate were stolen from the store. However, police said in a statement this week that their evidence led back to the store's owner.
The exotic animal was recovered by the Eugene Police Department on March 17, after they say they located the out-of-town prostitute in a local area hotel.
In the state of Oregon, it is prohibited to possess an exotic animal without a license issued by the State Department of Agriculture. The woman was cooperative, and provided a statement to detectives, along with the exotic animal, according to a police statement.
Two days later, it was the state police who picked up McClain, who they say appeared to be under the influence of methamphetamine when he was exiting the porn store that happens to be next to the Oregon State Police office in Albany.

McClain was arrested and booked in the Linn County Jail and held for allegedly Driving While Under the Influence of an Intoxicant.
Two days later, Eugene police spoke to the store owner. Their report claims he again appeared to be under the influence of methamphetamine.
On April 14, 2016, McClain was arrested for prostitution and lodged at the Lane County Jail. The investigation into the burglaries is unfounded and the missing Girl Scout money was never recovered and is still under investigation.
The exotic animal, Gooey, is safe and currently at a nearby sanctuary until the USDA issues a new license for Zany Zoo Pet Store.
