The former House speaker let it fly when he addressed an audience at Stanford University, calling GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz "Lucifer" and a "miserable son of a b***h."

"I have Democrat friends and Republican friends," the Ohio Republican said Wednesday night. "I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a b***h in my life."
He also referred to Cruz as "Lucifer in the flesh."
Boehner, who retired from Congress in October, had kinder words for Ohio Gov. John Kasich, saying he's "my friend, and I love him." Boehner said he and Donald Trump were "texting buddies" and often played golf.
