The duo skipped the Daytime Emmys but still took home a big prize.
Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan were no-shows at the Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday despite winning the award for Outstanding Talk Show Host.

“I didn't realize we had even won an Emmy until I started getting text messages...from all of my friends,” Ripa said on Monday's Live! with Kelly and Michael.
Strahan thanked the show’s staff for their hard work, saying: “It’s about a team and that’s what we have here.”
The award came just days after on-air tension between the hosts hit fever pitch.

On Friday’s show, Ripa took an apparent dig at Strahan’s failed marriages, leaving the former New York Giant dumbfounded.
Strahan is set to leave Live! on May 13 to join Good Morning America.
