An undercover operation was set up after authorities came across his descriptive ad.
A South Carolina man was busted after investigators spotted a Craigslist ad where the man declared he sold marijuana.
According to authorities, 27-year-old James Kinley III posted the ad on Craigslist titled: “Pot… I SELL WEED - $200.”

In the ad, the seller posted what his product looked like, prices, his phone number, locations where he sells and his photo.
The ad caught the attention of York County's Multijurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit after a sergeant in the force was looking for vehicles on the website.
Lt. Mike Ligon told Inside Edition that the investigators were altered and a sting operation was set up.
When an undercover cop showed up to meet Kinley to “purchase” the pot, the seller did not notice that the officer was wearing a marijuana eradication hat.
After a deal was brokered between the two parties, the undercover cop said: “let me get the money.” According to Ligon, he turned around and the other agents arrived to place Kinley in cuffs.

“With social media the way it is. I think people do stuff to see what they can get away with,” Lt. Ligon told Inside Edition. “If you do these things, the likelihood your selling to an undercover office can be very good.”
Kinley was charged with marijuana distribution.
