Former Secret Service member writes that fellow agents and White House staffers lived in terror of her next tirade.
Did Hillary Clinton actually give her husband Bill a black eye when he was the commander-in-chief?

That's the explosive claim made in a new book, Crisis Of Character by Gary Byrne, a former Secret Service agent assigned to the Clinton White House.
Byrne says he saw "a light blue vase smashed to bits" after the Clintons had "a big argument that ended in a crash" in 1995. Bill had “a shiner, a real, live, put-a-steak-on-it black eye. I was shocked," he wrote.
When Hillary was first lady, Byrne claims she screamed obscenities at her husband, Secret Service agents and White House staffers — "all of whom lived in terror of her next tirade."
Byrne was a Secret Service firearms instructor for 12 years and says he was stationed right outside the Oval Office during the Clinton presidency.

The book, which arrives later this month, has vaulted to No. 1 on Amazon's pre-order list. But Byrne is now coming under fire from another former Secret Service agent, Jonathan Wackrow.
Wackrow says Byrne violated a code of silence by writing about his White House experiences.
"A book like this violates the sanctity of trust between the Secret Service and our protectees," he told Inside Edition.
A Hillary spokesperson calls the book the "latest in a long line of books attempting to cash in on the election cycle with their nonsense. It should be put in the fantasy section of the bookstore."
