In a video posted to YouTube Monday, the world is introduced to Apple Jacks — aka AJ — and her baby, Tuttle, who were rescued from a shelter.
The mom had been suffering from mange, secondary skin infection, hookworms, ringworms and needed help physically and emotionally. Tuttle had a skin infection just from being around her mother.
According to VetRanch, AJ was scared to leave the kennel and it was difficult to get her out.
The kind folks at VetRanch rehabilitated the dogs and helped get them back to being normal, playful pooches.
