Anguish in Nice: Heartbreaking Photos Show Despair in Aftermath of Truck Attack

Heart-wrenching images from Nice have emerged, a day after deadly truck attack in the resort city.

From an image of a doll with a body to abandoned toys and baby carriages, photos from the terror attack in Nice, France, that left 84 people dead are completely heart-wrenching.

The photos were revealed amid reports that at least 10 children were killed in bloody truck rampage in the French resort city.

One heartbreaking image of the aftermath of the attack shows a girl’s doll left on the street, lying next to a body.

The famous promenade in the French Riviera was littered with bodies, baby carriages and toys.

Parents held onto their children tight as panic gripped everyone’s face following the wrath of 31-year-old Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, who plowed a truck through the crowd of revelers.

Following the attacks, white covers were put on the victims of the attack. The scene, home to paradise and prominence in Europe, became a graveyard. 

The area was filled with revelers celebrating the national holiday of Bastille Day. Fireworks lit up the sky and the joy from the spectators faces was gone in an instant. 

Police say Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, a divorced father of three, was driving the 18-ton truck Thursday night. His ID was discovered beside his dead body inside the vehicle after he was killed by police.
