Keith Haskel and Bethany Hall exchanged vows aboard the Staten Island Ferry, before heading to their reception on the subway.
This couple was in a “New York State of Mind” when they exchanged their wedding vows with hundreds of random Big Apple citizens as their guests.

Keith Haskel and Bethany Hall said “I do” aboard the Staten Island Ferry with 100 of their wedding guests surrounding them on the boat.
They had no bridesmaids or groomsmen, just family and friends who looked on as the couple became husband and wife.
After the big kiss, it was off to the reception at a Brooklyn beer hall, but who needs a fancy limo to transport you when you have New York City Transit at your disposal?
The groom told Inside Edition: “We didn’t have a permit, it was rush hour, a lot of things could have gone wrong but it really went off without a hitch. It was the most fun day of my life.”
They also shared an unconventional first dance on the subway platform.
“It was the most exciting first dance I could have asked for,” Haskel said.

The groom, who is Jewish, even had an impromptu hora on the moving subway car and was lifted in the air. They invited strangers to join in their "commuter wedding."
She said: “We wanted to have a stress free wedding and traditions aren't really for us, so we thought, what can we do that is a little more care-free, fun and that suits our personalities better."
